Nara Lokesh’s strong counter to YSRCP over drugs case

The issue of massive drug bust uncovered in the Gujarat port continues to be a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh politics. Both the YSRCP and TDP leaders are passing strong statements against each other regarding the same.

The TDP leaders alleged that the drugs were directly linked to CM Jagan and YCP MLAs, while AP government adviser Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy mentioned the names of Chandrababu and Lokesh in the case. It was in this context that Lokesh reacted on Wednesday.

TDP national general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh, who is currently on a trip to Dubai with his family, severely objected for dragging his name into the drugs case. He alleged that drugs YSRCP leaders are behind the drug racket and said that CM Jagan’s binami Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy should be investigated

“During your two-and-a-half-year rule, have you been able to prove corruption and irregularities in even a single rupee of what you have alleged?”‘ Lokesh questioned.

Lokesh also accused Jagan of Rs 72,000 crore worth of heroin imports case and said the CM is expanding his criminal empire to drug dealing.
