Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh took the big responsibility of making the party strong again onto his shoulders. For this, he announced Yuva Galam, a massive padayatra that will cover close to 3,000 kilometers. Nara Lokesh will be covering over 100 constiteuncies.
January 27th has been fixed as the starting day of the yatra. He took the blessings of his grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the founder and chief of the grand old Telugu Desam Party. He will reach Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad following the schedule.
Nara Lokesh took the blessings of both the Nara and Nandamuri families. He can be seen taking blessings of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuvaneshwari and Balakrishna couple. They wished them all the best for his massive yatra that will be started on Friday which is tomorrow.
Before going to the NTR Ghat, he was given a Harathi by his better half Brahmani. Harathi is given as a good omen and to wish the person the best of luck for their work. As Nara Lokesh will be walking thousands of kilometers he needs divine support as well on the big mission.
After giving a Harathi Brahmani placed a Tilak on Nara Lokesh’s forehead. It is said that a small pooja was held in Chandrababu Naidu’s house in Jubilee Hills. Members of both families reached there and blessed Nara Lokesh for his padayatra.
Padayatras have a rich history in Telugu states. Almost every leader who started the yatra rose to power. The TDP is also hopeful that the party would come to power. Padayatras are also being held in Telangana. T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay held a yatra and Sharmila is busy yatra.
