A Khammam court has issued non-bailable warrant against former MP and Congress leader Renuka Chowdary in a cheating case. A woman by name Kalavathi has filed a case against Renuka and she alleged that the Congress leader assured to give MLA ticket to her husband and took money. However, Kalavathi’s husband did not get MLA ticket and so she demanded her money back.
With Renuka refusing to repay the lady, the latter approached the court. After filing the cheating case, the court summoned Renuka with notices. But Renuka declined to accept the notices and also failed to appear before the court on a couple of occasions.
Expressing anger on Renuka, the second additional first-class magistrate has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against her. Kalavathi claimed that she pleaded Renuka to repay her money and even knocked AICC leaders to complain against Renuka and Khammam police. The cops refused to file a case as Kalavathi has no evidence. With minimal options, Kalavathi directly filed a court case.
