NCB arrests Shadab Batata, a drug supplier for B-town

The Narcotics Control Bureau has achieved great success. NCB arrested Shadab Batata, son of Mumbai drugs supplier Farooq Batata, last night. During its investigation, NCB conducted sudden raids in Lokhandwala, Versova and Mira Road areas during which drugs worth of Rs 2 crores were seized immediately.

The NCB initially conducted a raid on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday in Lokhandwala, Versova and Mira Road areas of Mumbai. In this raid, NCB recovered many luxury cars and all of them have been sealed.

According to sources in the Narcotics Control Bureau, Farooq Batata’s son Shadab used to supply drugs at private and rave parties that came from abroad to many B-town celebs. Reportedly, money counting machine has also been recovered from Shadab Batata. The culprit is being interrogated currently to whom he is connected.

Earlier, on March 7, 2021, the team of NCB carried out a major operation in Goa. The NCB conducted a raid in Goa based on the information received from the accused related to the Sushant Singh Rajput drugs case. During this time, the agency recovered a huge amount of drugs.
