The Indian federal law enforcement and intelligence agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which has been probing into drug abuse in Bollywood has made a breakthrough and arrested a former Assistant director.According to the information, the NCB sleuths have arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend, former assistant director Rishikesh Pawar was arrested. The accused has been on run over the past month.
After the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the NCB has been probing into drug abuse in the industry. During the investigation, one of Sushant’s staff members, Dipesh Sawant has reportedly named Pawar.It has been widely reported that Rishikesh Pawar has supplied drugs to the deceased actor in May, one month before his death. Sushant was found dead in his residence in June.
When the NCB started an investigation into the issue, Rishikesh Pawar has knocked on the doors of the Mumbai sessions court to seek anticipatory bail in the NCB case, but the court rejected the application.During the search, the cops have found a laptop, which is believed to have possessed crucial data to prove his alleged role in supplying drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.
