NDA has crossed magic figure (272) and is heading towards a clear majority. NDA has crossed 300 mark while BJP alone is leading in 248 parliament seats. Whereas UPA is struggling to touch 100 mark. UPA is leading in 97 seats of which Congress is leading in 59 seats. Others are leading in 70 Lok Sabha seats. Interestingly, BJP is leading in 3 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana. Congress ally DMK is set for a sweep in Tamil Nadu.
Overall, the trends show that BJP-led NDA is clearly heading towards to form the government at the Centre.
