New Trend: Actresses Promoting Condom Brands!

Actors and actresses doing advertisements is an old practice that has been going on since Mahanati Savithri’s time. The actress was the face of the iconic Lux campaign, which says Lux is used by film stars to have glowing skin. The next generations of actresses took forward the practice and the advertisements became a big earning source for them.

They get more income by doing ads than by doing films and this is the reason why actresses and actors show interest in doing advertisements. Over the age, the platform for advertisements has been changing.

Earlier, the advertisements used to come on the Television, and later the Newspaper took over. Now Social Media became the biggest media and it had emerged as a crucial platform for such advertisements.

Looking at the preferences of the audiences and customers, the big companies are not shying away from signing leading actors and actresses for promoting their liquor brands. Though stars promoting liquor brands are not that popular in the South, it is widely prevalent in the Northern belt. The trend is slowly getting into the south with the leading beauties promoting it.

On their social media accounts, they are making advertisements for liquor brands. As a new trend, actresses started promoting condom brands too. Ravishing beauty Niddhi Agerwal collaborated with leading condom manufacturer Durex and promoted it.

Joining the force, another actress Anita Hassanandani also turned promotor of the condom brand. In the latest ad, she appeared along with her husband Rohit Reddy. The advertisement is all about how the condom makes reaching climax for women more special.

The advertisements featuring the actresses focus on one thing, how the condom adds more pleasure for the partners when they get intimate. We might get to see more actresses doing the same.

If the new advertisements done by the actresses turn successful, then a few more actresses might take up such opportunities. In a way, it is like sex education which is seen as taboo in society yet. On the other hand, a few people have reservations about stars promoting such brands for the sake of remuneration.
