NIA speeds up #KodiKatthi case

The National Investigation Agency has speed up the ‘Kodi Katthi’ case of YS Jagan. On Thursday night, the accused Srinivas Rao is taken into NIA’s custody and is shifted from Vizag to Vijayawada. He will be produced before the third metropolitan magistrate before probing the case further.

On January 4th, the NIA has registered a case based in a complaint by CISF commando. The NIA officials are proceeding in the case as per the directions of the court. They received orders from the court to take the accused into their custody. The NIA also filed a petition seeking the evidences in connection with the case from the Andhra Pradesh police.

Meanwhile the Andhra Pradesh government has approached the High Court vacation bench over NIA taking the case. A petition has been filed by the AP government objecting NIA’s involvement.
