Nikhil Siddharth’s latest release, ‘Spy,’ has garnered significant attention from the audience, with many eagerly anticipating its arrival. Following the success of ‘Karthikeya 2,’ which earned him recognition in the North Indian film industry, Nikhil aimed to maintain his momentum with a spy-themed movie.
However, despite its national appeal, the film failed to fully impress viewers. Nevertheless, ‘Spy’ enjoyed a strong opening at the box office, marking the best start for Nikhil’s career. On its first day, the film amassed a share of 4.28 crore and a gross collection of 6.85 crore in the Telugu states.
In Karnataka and the rest of India, it garnered 46 lakhs, while overseas collections reached approximately 1.28 crores. Although the film’s opening in the North Indian market didn’t meet expectations, Nikhil’s popularity in the Telugu states contributed to its strong performance there.
