Rajya Sabha MP and YSRCP general secretary Vijay Sai Reddy has stooped low in making comments against a bureaucrat. Vijay Sai Reddy has described State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as “dog”.
He said, “A dog has been made sit on the golden chair. What does the dog do if it’s made sit on a golden chair, the same is being done by Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as Election Commissioner.”
Vijay Sai Reddy has mistakenly mentioned State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as Nimmagadda Prasad. However, he had corrected immediately when the people who are sitting with him alerted him.
Vijay Sai Reddy didn’t stop there. He went onto allege that the state election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh has “murdered” the democracy and democratic institutions. All Ramesh had done was he had postponed the local body elections in AP by six weeks as a precautionary measure against Corona outbreak.
With such belittling comments coming from a Rajya Sabha MP on State Election Commissioner, the things are going from worse to worst in AP. The other day CM YS Jagan too attacked State Election Commissioner and made references to the latter’s caste. The Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is silent over the political comments. He is yet to revert to neta’s remarks.
