Nithiin, Pawan Want 3.5 Crore?

Nithiin’s Lie might have ended up as a massive disaster burning the pockets of the film’s producer who had up held the overseas rights of the film. Yet it hasn’t affected the price of his ongoing film Chal Mohan Ranga. It is learnt that the film’s producers (jointly produced by Nithiin’s home production Sreshth Movies and Pawan Kalyan’s Creative Works) are expecting 3.5 Crore from its overseas theatrical rights.

Directed by Krishna Chaitanya of Rowdy Fellow and story by Trivikram Srinivas, the film’s shoot has been completed. Buzz is that the film is a family film laced with romance. Since Nithiin and Trivikram’s A..Aa has worked very well – especially in the US where A..Aa did 2.445 Million USD, Nithiin’s home banner is expected 3.5 crore.

Overseas buyers are in contemplation mode after seeing high prices. They’re looking whether the prices would come down or not. However, we hear that the deal is expected to be closed soon as the film nears its release. This is a very crucial film for both Nithiin and his home banner.

While Nithiin’s Lie bombed, Sreshth Movies suffered major set back with Akhil. Let’s see what is in store. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s Creative Works too burnt its hands with Sardaar Gabbar Singh. In many ways, Chal Mohan Ranga is very crucial for Nithiin, PK and of course, Trivikram who provided the story.
