Nivetha Pethuraj Denies False Allegations Regarding Her Lifestyle

Popular South Indian actress Nivetha Pethuraj, known for her roles in films like “Mental Madhilo” and “Brochevarevaru Ra,” has addressed recent false rumors concerning her lifestyle and finances.

Residing in Dubai, Pethuraj has faced undue stress due to the spread of misinformation. In response, she issued a heartfelt statement requesting journalists to uphold responsible reporting practices and cease disseminating unfounded claims.

Pethuraj expressed her disappointment: “Lately, there has been false news circulating about me and my spending habits. I initially chose to remain silent, hoping the individuals spreading these rumors would demonstrate some decency and verify the information before causing harm.”

Highlighting the emotional toll, she stated: “My family and I have been subjected to immense stress over the past few days. I urge everyone to consider the potential consequences before spreading unfounded information.”

She firmly denied the allegations: “I come from a respectable family and have achieved financial independence since the age of 16. My family has resided in Dubai for over 20 years, and we currently live in a rented house there.”

Further clarifying the situation, Pethuraj added: “Throughout my career in the film industry, I have never sought favors or opportunities from producers, directors, or actors. My success solely stems from the roles I have been offered.”

Emphasizing her values, she declared: “I am not and never will be consumed by greed for work or money. I firmly state that the rumors surrounding me are entirely baseless. Additionally, my passion for car racing began in 2013, and I was completely unaware of any such races happening in Chennai.”

Seeking a peaceful existence, she concluded: “I lead a simple life and have finally found mental and emotional stability after overcoming significant challenges. I yearn to continue leading a dignified and peaceful life, just like any other woman deserves.

Instead of legal recourse, Pethuraj appealed to journalistic integrity: “I still hold onto the belief that journalism upholds certain ethical standards, and I implore journalists to verify information before jeopardizing the reputation of families and causing unnecessary suffering. I am immensely grateful to everyone who has spoken out in my support, and I believe that truth will ultimately prevail.”

Pethuraj’s statement serves as a powerful reminder of the detrimental impact of spreading misinformation and the importance of responsible journalism in protecting individuals and their families from unwarranted harm.
