While the whole state of Andhra Pradesh is going through an intense drama because of the Local Body Elections, there is one area that seems to be doing fine with no tension at all.
It is the most controversial city in the recent politics, the city of Amaravati. The reason is that sources say there will not be any elections held here. There are multiple reasons that people are saying on this.
While the people of Amaravati are claiming that because the ruling party is afraid that they will lose the elections, the ruling party has a different explanation.
They say that since very recently multiple villages have been merged into one, the government had appealed to the Election Commission to omit Amaravati from this elections.
The Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj and Village Development department, Gopalakrishna Dwivedi has appealed to the Election Commission on this.
Even the Panchayiti level elections were asked to not be held in these villages of Amaravati. The peope of Amaravati who had learnt about this development are utterly furious with the Government. Let us see what will it be next.
