The Director of State Public Health of Telangana, Dr.Gadla Srinivasa Rao has clarified that there is no truth in the propaganda that the Medical Health Department has sent proposals to the state government asking to impose a lockdown in the state.
Dr.Srinivasa Rao made it clear that the medical health department has not sent any such proposal to the govt. He said there was a steady increase in the number of Covid cases in Telangana at present and the situation would be brought under control in another 3-4 weeks only if the people take similar precautions.
So he said that there is no proposal of imposing a lockdown. At least the medical health department has no such intention, he said.
