At MWC 2019, HMD Global will take to the stage to show off the highly awaited Nokia 9 Pureview. While most details of the handset have already leaked, a new and interesting titbit about the handset has surfaced. The Nokia 9 Pureview has passed through the Chinese 3C for its official certification and while no details about the handset have been divulged, it will come with an 18W charger that supports quick charge in the box, a report by GSMArena states.
The report states, “The adapter itself is rated for 5V @ 3A, 9V @ 2A, or 12V @ 1.5A. Based on these ratings, it looks like the adapter can support both Qualcomm’s Quick Charge and possibly USB-Power Deliver up to 15W via the 5V @ 3A current. The phone is rumoured to have a 4,150 mAh battery.”
The Nokia 9 Pureview has recently made an appearance in a leaked promotional video and it lines up with leaked images that have been floating around. With it, we learn about some interesting features that the handset will boast. Firstly, the handset will run on Android 9.0 Pie and secondly, it will feature a 5-camera layout with Zeiss Optics. The device once launched will have an edge-to-edge 5.99-inch 2K HDR PureDisplay and sport an in-display fingerprint.
The Nokia 9 PureView will also be Qi compatible which means that it will support wireless charging. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC, the same one used in the current crop of flagships from Samsung, OnePlus and LG. Paired with the SoC will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. As of now, this looks like the only configuration it will be available in.
