Nani‘s Jersey, which was released in 2019, had received critical appreciation when it was released. If we list some of the
masterpiece movies in Telugu cinema history, the Gautam Thinnanuri directorial must include in the list undoubtedly. Since its release, it has received many accolades nationally. Especially Nani has performed of the lifetime.
But now Amanda Bailey, a prominent Australian journalist, could not help but express her reaction after seeing the same jersey picture.
“I watched Jersey! What an emotional journey. The creators did a brilliant job of drawing you in – you back Arjun’s dreams as much as him. Nani did a beautiful job. You smile with him, you cry with him. My favourite scene is at the train station – my fear turned to elation,” she shared on her Twitter handle.
The film has earned two National Awards at the 67th National Film Awards. It won awards in two categories, one for Best Editing and the other for Best Telugu Film.
