Chandrababu challenging Jagan for a referendum about the capital issue of Andhra Pradesh has become a political hot topic in AP. Chandrababu even said that he would quit politics if the public favoured Jagan‘s 3 Capitals over Amaravati as the sole capital.
Now, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has challenged Chandrababu for another referendum, with respect to the by-polls in Tirupati. Campaigning for Tirupati by-elections is in full swing by all parties.
The TDP is trying its best to win the Tirupati seat, keeping in mind the current anti-government feeling. On the other hand, the YSRCP remains to be confident of its loyal supporters and is pretty sure about winning the seat back in the upcoming elections.
Peddireddy has now challenged Chandrababu to renounce politics altogether if the TDP fails to win the Tirupati seat. He even dared Chandrababu to treat the upcoming Tirupati by-polls as the referendum that Chandrababu challenged Jagan with. Considering this to be that referendum, Peddireddy has now challenged Chandrababu.
It is now to be seen how Chandrababu will respond to this challenge, and what will happen in the foreseeable future.
