Telugu superstar NTR Jr., also known as Young Tiger NTR, is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming two-part film, “Devara,” directed by the acclaimed Koratala Siva. While initially slated for an April 5th release, production delays due to actor Saif Ali Khan’s injury have temporarily postponed the premiere. Nevertheless, the recently released “glimpse” has already generated immense excitement among fans, who eagerly await a mass entertainer following NTR’s game-changing performance in “RRR.”
“Devara” marks a significant collaboration for NTR, reuniting him with renowned producer Dil Raju after their successful ventures like “Brindavanam” and “Ramayya Vastavayya.” Dil Raju has also distributed several of NTR’s films, solidifying their long-standing association. Notably, NTR even extended his support to Dil Raju’s son Ashish Reddy’s debut film, “Rowdy Boys,” highlighting their mutual respect and camaraderie.
Adding to the film’s grandeur, NTR’s brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram presents “Devara” under the prestigious “NTR Arts” banner, while seasoned producers Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna take the helm. The cast boasts an impressive ensemble, featuring Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, along with established actors Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in pivotal roles. Janhvi Kapoor takes on the lead female role, playing the character named Thangam. Renowned editor Sreekar Prasad rounds out the talented crew.
With its high-octane action sequences, captivating story, and powerful performances, “Devara” promises to be a visual treat for NTR fans and cinephiles alike. Although the exact release date for Part 1 remains unconfirmed, the anticipation surrounding the film continues to build. Whether it lives up to the colossal expectations set by “RRR” remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: “Devara” is poised to make a big splash in the Telugu film industry.
