Despite some average hits, still Mahesh Babu’s 1-Nenokkadine heroine Kriti Sanon is trying hard to cement her position in Bollywood. Her recent release ‘Lukka Chuppi’ made good money though critics termed it as a below average movie. Here goes her next outing.
Apparently, Kriti has already sizzled in an item number earlier in the super hit film “Stree” and now she is coming up her second item number. With this move, she has made her foot into Karan Johar’s camp. Yes, the upcoming ‘Kalank’, produced by Karan Johar, has this sensuous item number ‘Aira Gaira’ featuring Kriti as the backless dancing lady.
While the song teaser is interesting, Kriti is yet to better her dance moves though her expressions are fine. In Bollywood, heroines do these item numbers to get close to some production houses and that is what the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif did most of the time. Hope this move will help Mahesh’s heroine too.
Featuring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha in the leads, Kalank is hitting cinemas on April 17th.
