Opinion: Does Pawan Need To Explain Himself?

The only popular face of Janasena after Pawan Kalyan, Ex-JD Lakshmi Narayana resigned to his party membership blaming the chief’s back and forth instable choices towards quitting films forever.

Pawan Kalyan responded with a press note wherein he tried to explain his need for films as he has to be strong financially to keep the party up and also for his family. BJP’s Ambika Krishna and Loksatta JP came in support of Pawan, saying that he need not explain himself for the reasons Ex-JD has shown to leave the party.

Does not Pawan Kalyan really need to explain himself? Pawan Kalyan many a time publicly announced that he gave up on films when he is a top star whose stardom can earn him tens of crores, just to be with people and claimed that his mind and heart always were with people. Did he not know that money is a key factor in politics then? or Did he over-estimate himself that he will win the elections?

Like JP said, Politics is not a profession but many politicians today are making it one. Is Pawan Kalyan a routine politician who thought he could survive on politics without any other source of income, is the question.

Well, now that Janasena is friends with national and powerful party BJP, what if the party offers a Rajyasabha membership to Pawan or even a ministry of state affairs, making the rumors true? If he accepts it, will he be a ‘highly paid government employee’ then, unlike he said he is not, in the press note accepting JD’s resignation?

Like Pawan Kalyan expressed his ire on Jagan indirectly that he has got no cement factories or mining ores, did he forget that films would be his only source of income before announcing his quit from films? Or like rumors speak, did he lose his close financially-strong aides gradually after uncomfortable outcome in elections and also in a dislike for his decisions?

More than Ex-JD Lakshmi Narayana’s reason to quit the party, Pawan Kalyan’s acknowledgment is bringing more questions up. Well, which one is ridiculous in the two? An introspection in need!
