The situation of the grand old Telugu Desam Party(TDP) is getting worse day by day. The party’s situation is slowly becoming a shrinking ship with one of the other leaders bidding goodbye.
Ex-MLA Sobha Hymavathi, often dubbed as a key leader in the party, has announced his exit from the party. She has written to party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu in this regard.
In the letter, she maintained that she was sidelined in the party dispute working hard and she was not happy with this. Those who work for the party are not treated well in the party, she alleged.
During her stint with the TDP, Sobha Hymavathi served as the Srungavarapukota MLA and the chief of the TDP woman cell too.
Her exit from the party has sparked rumours that she might wear the YSRCP shawl soon. However, there is no official word from her on her next move.
TDP has been dealing with the worst ever crisis since its inception. In its four decades of experience, TDP was never this weak. Starting with the 2019 election debate to the local body elections, the party is getting weaker and weaker.
