Over Budget Worrying The Team of ‘Michael’!

Young hero Sandeep Kishan is working simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil films. While he slowed down a bit in Telugu, he is still busy in Kollywood. After ‘Gully Rowdy’, he is working on Tamil projects like ‘Naragasuran’ and ‘Michael’.

While ‘Naragasuran’ is getting delayed due to unknown reasons, the production of ‘Michael’ is going on at a brisk pace. It is the first pan-Indian project in Sandeep’s career and national award winner Vijay Sethupathi will be seen doing a special role. It is an out-and-out action thriller and the posters of the lead cast have generated a good buzz.

But there are some whispers going around in the industry regarding this film. Apparently, the makers have spent around 35 crores on this movie which is way over the market of Sandeep Kishan. His movies don’t often get that much collections and this is worrying the film’s unit as per reports. As we know, Sandeep hasn’t delivered a hit in a long time and the success of ‘Michael’ is crucial for his career. With the overspending, the makers are trying to figure out if they can recover it or not. We need to wait and see what happens.

Coming to ‘Michael’, it is directed by Ranjith Jayakodi while Bharat Chaowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are the producers.

As we know, Sandeep Kishan made his entry into the industry as a villain with ‘Prasthanam’ and became a hero later. After a few flicks like ‘Routine Love Story’ and others, he scored his first big hit with ‘Venkatadri Express’. He acted in a lot of films like ‘Ra Ra Krishnayya’, ‘D for Dopidi’, ‘Okka Ammayi Thappa’, ‘Maanagaram’, ‘Nakshatram’, ‘C/o Surya’, ‘Tiger’, ‘Shamanthakamani’, ‘Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene’, ‘Tenali Ramakrishna’ and many others.
