Garnering a disaster talk all over, Manmadhudu 2 is going to end up with major losses in some areas. Neither the film catered to those adult jokes loving audiences, nor it entertained family audiences, leaving Nagarjuna in a shocker.
Despite the fact that it was rated quite badly by the critics, some audiences in Overseas areas still have a love for this film we have to say. Going by Monday’s collection in the USA, we have to say that Manmadhudu 2 pulled off a miracle. When films like Rakshadudu ($500+ on Monday) and Kobbarimatta ($150+) collected hundreds of dollars, Manmadhudu made $5700+ from USA box office.
Both those other films got better reviews than Nagarjuna’s movie, but it looks like the elders and senior citizens among the Telugu community still love to see the Akkineni hero on the silver screen. While the film is sold for 1.75 crores, the film should collect $550K to push distributors into a safe zone, but it collected only $225K till date, thereby worrying them.
