The long-awaited match of India and Pakistan, yesterday has left Pakistani fans in great disappointment and batsman Shoaib Malik was one of the victims to face severe backlash and trolls from netizens. He was dismissed for a first-ball duck against India and hence has been highly criticised by ardent worshippers of Pak cricket freaks.
In fact, earlier too, Shoaib Malik was dismissed for zero against Australia. He has been scoring only single digits in this World Cup tournament, leaving his fans in dismay. Currently, a video has become viral on social media, showing Shoaib with his wife, Sania Mirza. The video was taken at a restaurant in London and a few Pakistan team members were also present there, smoking hookah. The video clip tells that Shoaib Malik was seen at the café soon after losing the match. Netizens fired on them, saying that eating burgers and desserts, instead of focusing on fitness shows their lack of commitment and hard work.
But, Sania couldn’t keep calm and posted an enraged tweet against the person who uploaded the video. She tweeted, “That’s the video you shot without asking us, disrespecting our privacy even though we had a child with us? And got told off for doing so, and you came up with this crap? FYI ‘outing’ was dinner & yes people are allowed to eat if they lose a match! Bunch of fools! Try better content next time.” Soon after, the account which uploaded this video ha been deactivated. But, the video has already gone viral and is circulating wildly.
