Paruchuri Mallik’s remarks about the third wave of corona in a recent debate have led to controversy. The Telangana Medical Health Department has taken these comments seriously and decided to take stern action. The Telangana government officials said that Mallik made objectionable comments on the third wave of corona which led to creating panic in common people.
During the debate, Mallik said, “If the third wave comes, at least one person will die in every family. The body will decompose with the disease. It doesn’t matter if you think that I am scaring you.” The medical department complained to the Telangana DGP that criminal cases should be registered against him under the National Disaster Act. It also sought action against the TV channel that hosted the debate. Recently, a case has been registered against Paruchuri Mallik as per the complaint of the medical department.
