88 is the magic figure in AP to come to power. Even a small kid knows this. As of now, the clarity is that only the YCP is contesting 175 seats in the state. It has no alliance with others. YCP leaders are saying that they are coming alone.
TDP contested all the seats in 2019 and won just 23 seats. The party wants to not commit the mistake. It is focussing on alliances and wants to walk with like-minded parties. Janasena doesn’t even have in-charge in all the constituencies. No committees were also set up. The party is yet to reach the ground level.
Janaseena also contested the elections for the first time in 2019. The party contested 137 seats and in single-digit seats, it managed to get deposits. Though many say that the party’s graph increased there are a few doubts on this.
Earlier it was reported that Janasens would tour the state on Varahi and leaders would join the party in big numbers. But that did not happen and Janasena chief Pawan met Chandrababu Naidu twice.
Though nothing was official, many say that the meetings were held for the alliance. Leaders like Kapu Sena chief Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah think that Janasena would get an advantage with the alliances. Pawan also said that he is ready for respectable alliances.
It is said that Janasena pinned high hopes on the alliance. Janasena reports wants to get around 60 seats in alliance and CM post on sharing for PK. There is a reason behind Janasena’s logic.
TDP cannot contest alone and if it does that then Jagan would become CM alone due to vote sharing. As a few surveys say Jagan would come to power again, TDP might not take the risk. Losing the 2024 polls will be a big impact on TDP than Janasena.
But there are a few doubts about how logic would work in politics. Will TDP accept the proposal of CM post-sharing is a question here. Neither Pawan nor Janasena proved their strength in these four years.
Fear would have gripped the TDP if Pawan Kalyan would have toured AP in his Varahi. Will the CM post be shared if Janasena meets TDP regularly is a question here. Nadendla Manohar recently said that they have a master plan to develop north Andhra after coming to power.
Mega brother Nagababu also made some serious comments that TTD would be developed after addressing the irregularities in it. Many wonder if this is a part of the mind game of Janasena.
