The alleged ganja smuggling issue is creating ripples in Andhra Pradesh. The government is under severe attacks from the opposition parties on the issue as the outfits are accusing the state government of its alleged role in making the state a hub for drugs. Another politician had joined the row and raised his voice against the burning issue in the state.
Actor-turned-politician, Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan went all guns open against the issue and recollected his memories of getting to know about the drugs smuggling in 2018 when he was on his Porata Yatra. In a series of tweets, Pawan Kalyan had highlighted the issues and called the drug smuggling a mafia.
In his first tweet, Pawan Kalyan shared a video from his Porata Yatra at the Andhra-Odisha border where he spoke with the cand the students. Pawan Kalyan said that the locals complained against the issues like health, unemployment, and ganja trade.
Giving credibility to his claims on the emergence of drug sales in the state, Janasenani Pawan Kalyan shared videos of Nalgonda Superintendent of Police Ranganath and Hyderabad City Commissioner Anjani Kumar giving details on the drugs that were caught and seized at the border.
As a sensational allegation against Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan claimed that the state became a hub for narcotics. Pawan Kalyan helped the inaction of the leaders as the reason behind the nation getting affected with the drugs abuse. Drug lords are at every level, Pawan Kalyan alleged.
“During my ‘Porata Yatra’ in 2018, which was meant to understand the socio-economic issues of people of the state, in the tribal areas of Andhra-Odisha border, I had received numerous complaints about health, unemployment, illegal mining and also about ganja trade and its mafia,’Pawan Kalyan’s tweet reads.
“AP has become a narcotics hub and filled with many drug lords at every level. Entire nation is getting affected due to willful-inaction of leaders, who are in-charge of the government. The other opposition party Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is also fighting against the alleged drug menace. A delegation led by party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu met the honorable President Ramnath Kovind and requested his excellency to look into the matter.
