Pawan Kalyan locks his constituency for 2024 polls?

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan had contested from two seats (Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram) in the 2019 General elections and lost from both the seats. The latest reports suggest that the actor-turned-politician has now changed his plans for the upcoming polls in 2024.

Going by the latest developments in the state, we can assume that Pawan Kalyan is planning to contest from the Kakinada Assembly constituency. However, it is not clear that he will be picking Kakinada Urban or Kakinada Rural constituency. Reports reveal that the Janasena leader felt that Kakinada is a safe place for him to get into action in the next elections.

If we observe, the actor even laid special focus on the problems in the Kakinada Urban, as he already targeted Urban MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy. Buzz is that he may contest from single seat this time.

Janasena activists also believe that Pawan has a good chance to win from Kakinada. However, it remains to be seen can the Janasenani win against Dwarampudi, who already won twice in the Urban constituency.
