Pawan Kalyan has sat on Dharma Parirakshana Diksha. Pawan, who has made some critical comments on the ancient chariot of Antarvedi which was gutted in fire in suspicious manner and on the incidents of idols destroyed at Pithapuram and incidents at Nellore’s Konda Bitragunta, has demanded for an inquiry by a retired judge.
As the state government hasn’t responded to Pawan’s appeal, Pawan Kalyan along with his ally BJP has sat for Dharma Parirakshana Diksha. Pawan sat for Diksha at his home. Meanwhile, AP BJP leaders have come down heavily on the YSRCP-led government.
BJP MLC PVN Madhav accused the YSRCP-led government of hurting the sentiments of Hindu community. He alleged that the government hasn’t taken enough measures against the reported incidents and alleged that no arrests were made in related to these incidents.
PVN Madhav and other BJP leaders have sat on Dharma Parirakshana Diksha at BJP office in Pedda Waltair in Visakhapatnam. BJP leaders further alleged that the state government is using the funds of Hindu temples as revenue source for the government.
Stating that the revenues of Churches and Masjids would be utilised by the respective communities and development of their religious activities, BJP leaders alleged that the state government is using the revenues of Hindu temples.
They alleged that the BJP leaders would obstruct the state government’s move to any sort of sale of lands belonging to Hindu temples and societies and obstruct giving out the lands and properties of Hindu temples for lease to private individuals.
BJP leaders found fault with the reports of district collector and police commissioner over Antarvedi’s incident. AP BJP’s former chief and ex MP Kambhampati Hari Babu has also participated in the Diksha.
