The latest tours of power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan in the capital region of Amaravati and other parts of the state are suspected to be a tactic to divert the people’s attention from Income Tax searches on the companies and individuals closer to Telugu Desam Party’s big leaders.
The suspicions are expressed by YSRC legislator from Mangalagiri Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. He said Pawan’s tours in the capital was only to divert public attention from the recent I-T raids.
Rama Krishna Reddy said the I-T officials had made it clear in their press statement that Rs, 2,000 crore scandal has taken place. The raids had exposed the illegal scams of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.
“If Rs 2,000 crore illegal transactions have been found in the preliminary inquiry of CBDT, a lot more of amount of illegal transactions could be exposed after full investigation” said the MLA.
YSRCP leader questioned why CPI leaders Narayana and Ramakrishna were silent on the issue.
He also wondered why Naidu is silent over the I-T raids on his former personal secretary P Srinivasa Rao’s house. Similarly, he questioned the silence of Nara Lokesh over I-T raids on the companies of his friend Rajesh.
“Why does the former minister Prathipati Pulla Rao not opening his mouth about the raids on his son’s companies?” he questioned.
