Soon after Nara Lokesh, Telugu Desam Party general secretary and newly inducted minister in his father N Chandrababu Naidu cabinet, was given the portfolio of Information Technology and Panchayat Raj portfolios, people have started comparing him with his counterpart in Telangana, K T Rama Rao, son of Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
A cartoon is going viral in social media comparing Lokesh with KTR. It shows KTR riding a real horse and zooming ahead, while Lokesh in his school uniform is struggling to ride a wooden horse, a toy used for playing by children. Surprisingly, this cartoon has emerged from some Andhra groups.
It appears people of Andhra have not endorsed the choice of Lokesh as an IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, as compared to KTR.
As if to prove it right, a youth from Andhra tweeted, urging KTR to launch the TRS in Andhra Pradesh State as he was vexed with the existing political leaders in that State.
The young man he was not happy with the present TDP government, compared to the Telangana government.
“Sir KTR, we are disgusted and disillusioned with political leaders in Andhra Pradesh. Please start your party in AP also. Not only in TS, we are awaiting 4u”, the youth tweeted. “We are eagerly waiting for that development”, he said.
Interestingly, KTR also retweeted to the request. He said he was busy with the developmental and welfare programmes in Telangana and the TRS government has to fulfil its promises made to the people.
He thanked the Andhra youth for recognizing the TRS government’s performance.
“We have more than enough to do in Telangana brother. Thanks for the kind comments though”, KTR tweeted.
