Telangana CM KCR has met US President Donald Trump today at the special state dinner hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind in the honour of POTUS Donald Trump and FLOTUS Melania Trump. KCR greeted Trump and both shook hands for a while.
It can be noted that Telangana CM KCR has good equation with Ivanka Trump who was treated well during her previous visit to Hyderabad in 2017 where she had attended Global Entrepreneurship Summit, Indian President has extended invitation to CM KCR for this do. KCR is one among the 8 chief ministers who have been invited for the dinner. He met Union Ministers on the sideline of the dinner.
Meanwhile, it is common knowledge by now that AP CM YS Jagan hasn’t got the invitation for this special event. However, M Venkaiah Naidu, who hails from Andhra Pradesh and holds second-highest constitutional post Vice President, has met Trump. Venkaiah was introduced to Donald Trump by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other Union Ministers were also introduced to Trump.
It can be noted that this is the last function to US President couple during their India visit. Hence, a gastronomic dinner delight is hosted. Goat meet is said to have got place in the dinner menu. Though it is mostly Indian cuisine, American palette is taken into the account whilst preparing the special dinner items.
