The last month the politics of Rajasthan took many turns. Sachin Pilot was stripped from Deputy CM post and suspended from the party. Along with Sachin, 19 MLAs have also faced same action. However, the things are appearing to be coming to a conclusion.
Out of nowhere Sachin Pilot met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. It is said that two important and senior most leaders have played a crucial role in arranging this meeting. From the beginning Sachin has been persistent to meet Congress high command and finally he got to meet RaGa.
However, yesterday i.e, on Sunday the Rajasthan CLP meeting was held and in this meeting, a majority of the leaders demanded not to take back Sachin Pilot back to the party. However, CM Ashok Gehlot said that Congress high command will be the ultimate decision maker.
Some demanded that Sachin should apologise to the party and vote in favour of the government in the trust vote. Then he would be taken into the party.
But we are yet to know about the outcome of Sachin and RaGa’s meeting. Nevertheless, the Congress party is hopeful to resolve this dispute and bring normalcy in the state.
