‘PK’ magic to bring Babu back?

It looks like the Telugu Desam Party’s poll strategies have worked in its favour. If rumours emerging from his constituency-wise reviews are to be believed, it is learnt that the TDP cadre have informed AP chief minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu that they are positive about their win after seeking responses on booth-wise analysis.

This booth-wise review exercise, according to Chandrababu, gives the party leadership an overview of the party’s performance. After seeking reports from candidates, booth in-charges and polling agents, Chandrababu also sought information on voting trends.

From all quarters of the TDP, it is heard that Chandrababu’s development works and welfare schemes pulled huge crowds to the polling booths. As reports have been indicating that it could be a pro-incumbency vote as there was a huge women voters turnout, TDP cadre believes that most of the voters did not look at local candidates but chose to go with Chandrababu’s image.

Apparently, women cadre in the party came upto Chandrababu and said that it was Pasupu Kumkuma (PK) scheme that brought women to the polling booths in large numbers. Some also expressed that Chandrababu’s unexpected “begging” moved many women who believed it was right for them to vote for TDP. Well, for whatever reasons, looks like Chandrababu’s strategies have worked well on voters if this information is to be believed.
