PK25 Is Less Than Sardaar!

Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas crazy combination couldn’t impress Bollywood distributors with fancy prices. With Pawan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh turned out to be loss venture for Hindi buyers (who bought from Eros International), the distributors in Bollywood aren’t ready to bet big. It’s said that the theatrical rights of Hindi dubbed film, Satellite rights and its digital rights have been sold for just 11 Crore.

While Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s Hindi rights – theatrical, satellite and audio – had been sold over 20 Crore to Eros International, the Hindi rights of Pawan-Trivikram’s film fetching 11 Cr come as a surprise for the Telugu trade.

Post Baahubali, the market for Telugu-dubbed films in Hindi has seen a hike. Yet Pawan-Trivikram film going for relatively less price is something that is indigestible for many hard core fans given that it is PK’s landmark 25th film.  Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the yet-to-be-titled film stars Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel as female lead.

However, an official confirmation regarding the sale of Hindi rights of PK 25 is awaited.
