PM Modi Attributes Reforms Taken By The Govt To The Change In Global Perception On India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the industry association Assocham’s Foundation Week event the other day. The event was held virtually.

Addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister said even the world couldn’t find a way in tackling the situation, India received a record foreign investment, which is a good sign for the country.

The reforms bought by the government in the fields of manufacturing to taxation to labour have changed the way the world sees India, Narendra Modi said.

Earlier, there was a situation when global investors would believe why India. With the reforms, we have taken in the past six years, the investors are thinking why not India.

Adding further, Modi said, Indian has gained the trust of foreign investors. To keep up the trust earned, we should increase the investments in research and development (R&D) and the investments should be scaled up in the private sector.

Talking about the Covid-19 vaccine development, Narendra Modi said, we are very close to manufacturing the Covid-19 vaccine. We will also play a crucial role in supplying the Covid-19 vaccine to the world.
