Mumbai Crime Branch police have revealed some details about Raj Kundra, a prominent businessman arrested in a pornography case. The court on Monday granted bail to Mr Kundra, who has been in police custody for two months.
In this context, the Crime Branch officials responded to the Raj Kundra case. As part of the investigation, the businessman’s phone, laptop and hard drive disks were examined and a total of 119 pornographic videos were found in them. They said that Kundra had locked a deal for Rs 9 crore to sell all the videos.
In February this year, police raided a bungalow in Madhvi, a Mumbai suburb, following information that a porn movie was being shot. Two people were seen naked there. Police arrested 11 people in this regard. After five months of investigation, the Porn Rocket conspiracy was uncovered. As part of this, Raj Kundra, who runs the ‘Hot Shots’ app, was arrested. Kundra’s arrest has caused a stir in Bollywood.
Raj Kundra, who is Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband, was granted bail by the Chief metropolitan magistrate SB Bhajipale on Monday on furnishing a bond of Rs 50,000.
