Popular Filmmaker Hospitalised In Critical Condition


Popular filmmaker Nishikant Kamat is in critical condition and has been hospitalised in a Hyderabad. Reportedly, the director-actor had suffered from liver cirrhosis and now it has relapsed. As his condition got worse, he rushed to the hospital.
Nishikant made his directorial debut with Marathi film, Dombivali Fast, in 2005. The film became one of the biggest hits of the year and was also critically acclaimed and won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in 2006.
He is known for films like ‘Madaari’, ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’, ‘Force’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘Rocky Handsome’ and more.
Nishikant has also acted in films Saatchya Aat Gharat (Marathi), Rocky Handsome (2016), Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Fugay and Julie 2.
