The famous journalist from Telangana ‘Teenmaar Mallanna’ who was arrested on the grounds of alleged extortion and threatening and released from the Chanchalguda prison had attended a meeting held at Ghatkesar and made some serious statements. Q News owner Teenmaar Mallanna made many heads turn at him with his statements.
Speaking at the meeting, Teenmaar Mallanna alleged that a big conspiracy was made to kill him in the prison with the help of the inmates and said the date for the same was fixed on October 2nd on Gandhi Jayanthi. As the plan failed, I was shifted to a dark room, he said.
As per the media reports, Teenmaar Mallanna even alleged that a plan was made to make him mad by injecting drugs that are used to treat mental patients. With his statements, Mallanna left the attendees of the event in a state of shock. The satirical journalist did not disclose the names who were behind all this but made the allegations.
Teenmaar Mallanna was arrested earlier in August after a complaint was lodged against him on alleged extortion and threatening. Going by the complaint received, the cops conducted raids at the Q News office and took him into custody after gathering a piece of evidence. His arrest became a big topic in the state at that time.
A bunch of cases were filed against Mallanna and he faced jail for more than two months. After a series of attempts to secure bail, he got a major sigh of relief after the Telangana High Court granted him bail in November. With a bunch of cases filed against him, he had knocked on the doors of the High Court to seek bail from all the cases.
After conducting raids at his office, the cops have reportedly seized files and hard disks from the Q News office, and the hard disks are said to have possessed key information and evidence about the case.
Teenmaar Mallanna had also tried his luck in the elections and contested the Graduate MLC polls. Having contested the polls as an independent candidate, he had managed to give a tough fight despite losing the election.
