Young Rebel Star Prabhas was not a contender for number one slot until release of Koratala Siva directed Mirchi which garnered around Rs 40 Cr share.Prabhas spent nearly five years for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali series which got him nation-wide popularity.
Though everyone lauded Prabhas for his fantastic performance and daredevil stunts in the film, major credit of the film’s success was given to Rajamouli.Many claimed that Prabhas wouldn’t have scored such a humungous hit without Rajamouli on board for his film.
Apparently, Prabhas is on a mission to prove his personal stamina with his upcoming flick Saaho which is being made as a trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Said to be an action flick, Saaho is being made on high budget. They spent crores only to shoot a chasing sequence in Dubai which is said to be the major highlight in the film.
In fact, action episodes in Saaho are being overseen by international stunt choreographer Kenny Bates and will be on par with Hollywood movies, as per inside sources.
Hindi rights of Saaho were already closed for a staggering price and demand is high for distribution rights in Telugu states and other areas.
It is also heard that besides regularly releasing posters and videos after canning major portions of the film, they have decided to spend at least one month time only to promote the film before its release.
Apparently, Prabhas is willing to prove his stamina with Saaho which is likely to release in early 2019 or in summer.
One thing is for sure, Saaho is expected to make record pre-release business owing to the immense buzz surrounding the project.Nonetheless, Prabhas’s star-power can be substantiated on how the movie performs at box office.
