Prolific actor Prabhas, following the thunderous success of “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” continues to juggle a packed filming schedule. In between his commitments to the futuristic sci-fi film “Kalki 2898 AD” and the action-packed sequel “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam,” Prabhas has graciously carved out time for a special guest appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming mythological extravaganza, “Kannappa.”
“Kannappa” marks a prestigious project for Manchu Vishnu, boasting a star-studded cast that transcends regional boundaries. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has already completed his filming, reportedly portraying the role of Lord Shiva. Now, Prabhas joins the ensemble, bringing his immense star power to the project.
While details surrounding Prabhas’ specific character remain shrouded in some mystery, rumors suggest he might be portraying Nandeeshwar, the revered chief attendant of Lord Shiva. Filming for his key scenes commenced on May 7th at the expansive Ramoji Film City and is expected to conclude within four days.
Prabhas’ involvement in “Kannappa” signifies a significant milestone for the film, propelling it closer to completion. However, extensive post-production work, particularly focusing on visual effects, is still on the horizon.
