“Although I get into the meticulous approach of understanding the character design, I give importance predominantly to the plot of the film. The story itself should be designed to keep the audience engaged in whatever genre it is written,” Prabhas said.
He added that, his previous films have striked a chord with the audience pulse and was well received because of the way the director presented the film and how good the director focused, not only on bigger aspects but also on petty things with minute detailing.
When questioned about his experience in Bollywood compared to Tollywood, he hinted both are quite different by emphasising that every film has it’s own ways of film making in terms of shooting. “Initially speech became a hurdle in Bollywood, as it was a wee bit unfamiliar. Nonetheless, I was able to grasp quick and had a great experience on the whole.” he added.
He confessed that since past few years, it’s the audience who have been deciding what works and what doesn’t. Fresh concepts paved path by breaking the commercial formula stereotype and such novel concepts would work properly if executed correctly.
