Prabhas’ high-budget romantic drama ‘Radhe Shyam’ which came out on 11th March got a mixed response. The talk is completely divided on this flick as the masses who stepped into theatres expecting something else were disappointed heavily.
They are criticizing the film left right and center. On the other hand, the class audience have liked the film and termed it as a decent movie from Prabhas who shed his action hero image for ‘Radhe Shyam’.
The ‘Baahubali’ star might be a pan-Indian hero but his grip over the Telugu states is still very strong. Despite all the negativity, he showed his stamina by getting a share of 47.40 crores during the first weekend.
News is that the first day has been quite solid and the film stood its ground in the next two days. Though the drop is a bit worrying, the good collections are pleasing the fans.
However, the film needs to collect 105 cores in Telugu states alone to enter the safe zone. It is expected to be a tough task but let us wait and see what happens.
The collections for the first three days in the Nizam area were 21.5 crores and the Ceeded area brought a share of 6.6 crores. The film minted 4.10 crores in the Uttarandhra area while the share from Krishna and Guntur collectively amounted to 6.38 crores.
While the East Godavari brought a 3.87 crores share while 3.02 crores were earned in the West Godavari area. The collection in the Nellore region for the first weekend is 1.87 crores. On the whole, the film got a share of 47.32 crores while it collected 25.78 crores on the first day itself.
