Prabhas has disappointed the audience with his previous two films, Saaho and Radhe Shyam, so the stakes are pretty high on his immediate next theatrical outing, Adipurush which is announced for theatrical release on the 12th of January. This is the most promising film in Prabhas’s lineup and he hopes to get back to winning ways with the same.
As confirmed by the director of Adipurush, Om Raut, Prabhas went the extra mile for the film. The director confirmed that the star hero worked really hard on the project and his efforts will indeed pay off rich dividends as the film hits the marquee.
“Prabhas trained in proper Hindi for his role of Lord Rama in Adipurush. We used proper Hindi literature in the film and Prabhas had to undergo special training for the same. The same happened with the Telugu version as well. He trained in historic Telugu literature in order to get the voice modulations and dialogue delivery right,” Om Raut said.
Adding further, Raut said Prabhas built V shaped physique for Adipurush. “Usually archers have this V shaped physique, Lord Rama too had a perfect V physique and we wanted Prabhas to have the same. We knew it was tough ask but Prabhas gave it his everything and developed this physique. He will put on a spectacular show in Adipurush and the audience will witness a new facet of Prabhas in the film.”
It is evident that Prabahs has undergone a stellar makeover for Adipurush and he will be sporting a completely new look in the film as he plays Lord Rama in it. The film is up for release next Sankranthi season and it is billed to be the costliest project in Prabhas’s career till now. The film also features Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.
