Rebel Star Prabhas continues to dominate the box office with his latest release, “Salaar.” The epic action saga has raked in a staggering 715 crores worldwide, solidifying Prabhas’ position as a bankable star. The collaboration between director Prasanth Neel and Prabhas was highly anticipated, and “Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire” emphatically delivered on those expectations. Neel’s masterful direction showcased Prabhas in a way that resonated deeply with fans, leaving them eager for the next installment.
While fans eagerly await “Salaar 2,” director Prasanth Neel has shifted his focus to another highly anticipated project: #NTR31. This film, starring Jr. NTR, was announced earlier and was slated to begin production after the completion of “Salaar.” However, with Jr. NTR currently committed to “Devara” and “War 2,” speculation arose that Neel would prioritize “Salaar 2” to expedite its release.
However, recent reports suggest that Neel is determined to move forward with #NTR31 first. The “KGF” director is currently working on the script, with filming expected to commence in the latter half of 2024 if all goes according to plan. Mythri Movie Makers will serve as the production house for this venture.
Prabhas, meanwhile, remains the busiest actor in India, juggling a staggering five projects simultaneously. He is currently wrapping up work on “Kalki 2898 AD” under the direction of Nag Ashwin, scheduled for release on June 27th. Additionally, he is filming “Raja Saab” with director Maruthi. Prabhas has also committed to a film with Hanu Raghavapudi, reportedly set against the backdrop of World War 2. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit” rounds out Prabhas’ packed schedule, with filming slated to begin later this year.
