The highly anticipated collaboration between Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh and director Prasanth Varma has been officially called off. The news comes after months of speculation surrounding their superhero film project.
Following the success of Varma’s “Hanu-Man,” discussions began between him and Singh regarding a superhero film. The project, initially shrouded in secrecy, reportedly underwent a test shoot with financial backing from Mythri Movie Makers.
Rumors of creative differences between Singh and Varma swirled online, which Varma initially denied. However, recent statements from all parties confirm that the project has been shelved.
Despite the project’s cancellation, both Singh and Varma expressed their respect for each other’s talent. Singh stated his hope for future collaboration, while Varma acknowledged Singh’s unique energy and talent. Mythri Movie Makers echoed these sentiments, highlighting that although intentions were positive, the timing wasn’t ideal.
