Pro-TDP Swamy to launch Tirupati -to – Tadepalli yatra

Pro-TDP seer Swami Paripurnananda has become active again. After remaining silent for months post the stunning defeat of the TRS, the Swamy, who is in the BJP but has his sympathies with the TRS, has begun making comments. Sources say he has begun attacking YSRCP at the behest of the TDP.

Paripoornananda has a long history of pro-TDP leanings. In the runup to the 2014 elections, the Swamy was all over the place in the pro-TDP channels like ABN, Mahaa and TV 9 (under Raviprakash) and attacked Christianity very strongly. Indirectly, they targeted YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is a practicing Christian. In the 2019 elections, he acted in support of the TDP though he himself was a BJP member. After the TDP defeat, he went into a hibernation for nearly two years.

Now, he has once again begun attacking the YSRCP government. On the issue of Jagan’s fight with the film theatres, he said that the government, which has reduced the prices of the film tickets, is selling the darsanam tickets of Lord Venkateswara in the black.

He also said that YS Jagan had banned Hindu festivals citing Delta variant of the Covid, but has allowed Christmas and New Year celebrations despite Omicrn. He said that he would soon undertake a yatra from Tirumala to Tadepalli if the temples damaged by anti-Hindu forces were not rebuilt by the AP Government.
