The record-breaking blockbuster “Ala Vaikunthapurraloo” (AVPL) is finally getting remade in Bollywood.
Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Tele Films will be producing it with Bollywood’s rising young hero Karthik Aryan.
Ekta Kapoor has joined hands with the producers of ‘AVPL’. S Radha Krishna of Haarika Haasine Creations and Allu Aravind who co-produced AVPL in Telugu will also be partners in this Bollywood remake.
As GreatAndhra.com reported earlier, Allu Aravind insisted on keeping the Hindi remake rights with them.
Now, Ekta Kapoor has sealed the deal with S Radha Krishna and Allu Aravind.
While Ekta will be the official producer of the Bollywood version with a 50 percent stake, Radha Krishna and Allu Aravind together share the rest. Rohit Dhawan, Varun Dhawan’s brother will direct this film. It will start rolling early next year.
Allu Aravind is now co-producing the Hindi remake of “Jersey” with Dil Raju. This will be his second Hindi remake in the recent past.
