Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam who was a trendsetter in many ways is working on his dream project ‘Pinniyin Selvan’ from a very long time. Based on the famous novel with the same name, this movie is made on a grand scale. Much to the excitement of fans, Mani Ratnam unveiled the first look posters of the main characters in his epic drama.
Flawless beauty Aishwarya Ray is looking royal with her stunning outfit and heavy jewellery while Karthi is looking wild with a peculiar makeup. He is menacing and his character is expected to be quite interesting in this gigantic project. Jayam Ravi is seen as the warrior who got down on one knee in the battlefield. With blood and fire all around him, he is looking great. Finally, we have Chiyaan Vikram who is sporting a long hair and he is reaching out for a specially designed sword.
The four actors look terrific and these posters are definitely raising the expectations on this film. Mani Ratnam is planning to narrate this story in two parts. He announced that the first installment will be arriving on 30th September.
Mani Ratnam’s trusted composer AR Rahman is taking care of the music once again while Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies jointly produced this film. Mani Ratnam’s films are known to be lessons in filmmaking and he is arriving with such a huge film now. Everyone are eager to see what he shows us with ‘PS – 1’.
