Pushpa 2: Anticipation Soars as Theatrical Rights Are Acquired

Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Pushpa, titled Pushpa 2, is generating immense excitement across the Indian film industry. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Allu Arjun in the lead role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, who reprises her role as his love interest. With Allu Arjun’s last film release in 2021, Pushpa 2 marks his much-awaited return to the screen, fueling anticipation among fans.

In Andhra Pradesh, Sai Korrapati has acquired the rights for the Uttarandhra region, while LVR Pictures and Mythri Movies have secured the rights for West Godavari and East Godavari, respectively. The Krishna district rights were acquired by Bunny Vasu of Geetha Arts-2, and UV Creations producer Vamsi has secured the Guntur area.

For Nellore, Bhaskar Reddy of Anjali Pictures, a regular distributor for Mythri Movies, has bagged the rights. The Rayalaseema region has been acquired by Abhishek Reddy for a substantial sum of Rs. 30 crores. In Telangana, Mythri Movies itself will be distributing the film, including the crucial Nizam area, ensuring a widespread reach in the state.

Currently in production, Pushpa 2 is slated for a worldwide release on December 6. With major territories already locked in for distribution, the film is poised to have a massive opening, potentially becoming one of the biggest hits of the year. Fans and distributors alike are eagerly anticipating the film’s release, hoping it will replicate the success of its predecessor and cement Allu Arjun’s position as a leading star in the Indian film industry.
